AMY ARLESA RONHAAR is an American literary nonfiction author from Whidbey Island.
Passionate for literary art all her life, she is a born bibliophile that has practiced self expression through several forms of prose with a focus on memoir, poetry, and personal essay.
Ronhaar enjoys reading an array of genres from fiction to philosophy along with studying neuroscience, quantum mechanics, cosmology, behavioral psychology, creative nonfiction writing and art. In 2023 she received a K. Hensley Honorary Metaphysical Science Doctorate.
Raising Amy: A Daughters Memoir is her first published work and received critical acclaim. Her next book, From the Dogs Jaws, is set to be released April 4 2025.
She lives in Yosemite valley with her books, her pets and her husband Jonathan.
