AMY ARLESA RONHAAR is an American literary nonfiction author from Whidbey Island.

She has been a passionate bibliophile and writer all her life, practicing self expression through several forms with a focus on memoir, poetry, and personal essay.

She enjoys reading an array of genres from fiction to philosophy and studying neuroscience, quantum mechanics, cosmology, and art. She holds an honorary Metaphysical Science Doctorate and is a student of behavioral psychology and creative nonfiction writing.

Raising Amy: A Daughters Memoir is her first published work and received critical acclaim. Her next book is set to be released April 2025.

She lives in Yosemite valley with her books, her cats and her husband Jonathan.
